A New Path to Wellness
As we journey through life, there are always moments of waiting. Whether it is healing from physical pain, praying for answers, or simply waiting for life to unfold in the way we hope, these periods of stillness can be filled with anxiety, frustration, or uncertainty. But what if we could transform this time into an opportunity for growth, peace, and clarity?
That is where my new program, Meantime Movement, comes in.
What is Meantime Movement?
Meantime Movement is a mindful wellness practice that I have developed as an alternative to traditional yoga practices. For many, the word “yoga” can carry certain connotations or misconceptions, making it seem inaccessible or foreign. I wanted to create a practice that everyone can connect with, regardless of their previous experiences or feelings about yoga. Meantime Movement focuses on gentle, intentional movements, breathwork, and mindfulness, all designed to support your emotional and physical well-being while you are in a season of growth and waiting.
Why Meantime Movement?
The idea behind Meantime Movement came from my own experiences of waiting, whether it was healing from an injury, praying for clarity, or navigating the uncertainty of life’s transitions. I realized that the time spent waiting does not have to be passive. It can be a time of intentional action, inward focus, and grounding in faith. This program offers tools and practices to help you use the waiting time to nourish your body, calm your mind, and deepen your spiritual connection.
The Philosophy Behind Meantime Movement
The core of Meantime Movement is built on three pillars:
1. Mindful Movement: In Meantime Movement, we do not focus on poses or physical perfection. Instead, we focus on movements that feels good, releases tension and promotes balance in the body. It is about tuning into how your body feels, creating space, and moving with intention, not urgency. Whether you are recovering from physical pain or navigating emotional stress, the movements in this practice are designed to be gentle and accessible to all.
2. Healing Through Breath: Breath is the bridge between the mind and the body, and in Meantime Movement, we use various breathing techniques to foster relaxation, reduce stress, and center ourselves. In moments of uncertainty or waiting, breathwork can be a powerful tool to stay present, release anxiety, and maintain emotional balance.
3. Faith and Patience: At the heart of Meantime Movement is the belief that there is power in the pause. While we wait for healing, answers, or clarity, we are called to have faith and patience. This program encourages using movement to ground ourselves in trust, trust in the process, trust in ourselves, and trust in the timing of life. Instead of rushing to the next thing, Meantime Movement invites us to be still and let the answers come in their own time.
What Makes Meantime Movement Unique?
Unlike traditional fitness or yoga programs, Meantime Movement is designed for those navigating a time of waiting. It is not about achieving physical goals or mastering complex postures. Instead, it is about nurturing yourself in a season when it might feel like nothing is happening. Whether you are waiting for physical healing, emotional clarity, or spiritual guidance, this practice helps you to move through that waiting period with grace and intention.
Each session is gentle and adaptable, making it perfect for people of all abilities, body types, and backgrounds. The focus is on feeling good in the moment, honoring where you are, and creating a space of peace and reflection.
Supporting Emotional and Physical Well-Being
Meantime Movement is designed to support your emotional and physical well-being in a holistic way. The gentle movements release stored tension in the body, while the breathwork helps calm the mind. Together, these practices work to reduce stress, improve emotional resilience, and create a sense of balance and ease.
By combining movement with mindfulness and faith, Meantime Movement offers a pathway to heal not just the body, but the mind and spirit as well. It is about creating an inner sanctuary during times of waiting, so you can emerge from the meantime feeling stronger, more centered, and more connected to your inner self.
As we move through life’s waiting periods, let us shift our focus from frustration and impatience to mindfulness and self-compassion. Meantime Movement is an invitation to use the space in between as a time for healing, reflection, and growth. Together, we can learn to embrace the waiting, trust the process, and move forward with grace.
Join me on this journey of Meantime Movement, because sometimes, the most profound transformation happens in the meantime.
